TOMATO POLLINATOR

Every tomato grower should own a tomato pollinator and pollinate their flowers every day when they are blooming. It should be done in the mid day when the temperature is about 70 degrees and the relative humidity is about 70% so the air is not too dry and the pollen will stick. There is an enormous difference in tomato crops pollinated with a tomato pollinator. You get way more and larger fruit. A tomato pollinator does a better job of producing more and larger fruit than the wind does. Well pollinated flowers produce more seed count which in turn produces larger fruit. Our pollinator uses a AA battery and does an excellent job of vibrating the whole cluster of blossoms at one time. Easy to reach every flower cluster on every plant. Colors may vary. PH METER

This is a great PH meter for testing water quality, solutions and soil PH. Range is from 0.0 to 14.0 and gives very accurate readings. Just dip into solutions and stir. Soils can be tested by mixing 2 parts of distilled water with 1 part of soil. Stir the mixture and allow the soil to settle. Then test the water to get the pH value of your soil. Has easy 1 point calibration with included calibration solution. Has fast reading response along with very simple maintenance. Made by Milwaukee. Comes with batteries that last up to 700 hours. We have been using this great little tool for many years now and it always works great every time. This is a must have for anyone making nutrient solutions. 6500K CFL BULBS

This is a great Grow light bulb for the growth stage of all plants. These put out the good Blue light spectrum for lush compact growth. Does not promote flowering. These special bulbs put out 100 watts of light yet only use 26 watts of energy. These are 8,000 hour/1,600 lumen bulbs. They will fit into any standard light socket. Two bulbs can be teamed up in a Y connector to make 3,200 lumens per socket. We have used these bulbs to sucessfully start almost every plant imaginable and they work great. These special vegetative bulbs can also be ganged up in a series in a larger light fixture to create a very bright and impressive large grow light to finish larger plants with. HEAVY DUTY TIMER

This is a very easy timer to use. Has a fully grounded 3 prong plug and can take up to 1875 watts. Many other timers are not rated this high and burn out when too many watts are run through them. Runs on 15 amps and 120 volts. Has 24 hourly slide setting bars and a manual override should you ever need to use it. No little setting clips to lose or misplace on this timer. This also can be used for heavy duty appliances and air conditioners. This is a great Heavy Duty timer for running your Grow lights on automatic on/off. Just slide some of the bars back to off when you are in the blooming phase and you are set. This timer will actually run up to 72 of our 6500K CFL bulbs at one time. TOMATO PLANT CLIPS

Professional growers use a support system to carry the enormous weight of the plants and fruit produced. Normally a very strong cable is suspended above the plants with nylon strings hanging down from the cable to each plant. To keep the plants supported as they grow taller professional Plant Clips are used. Simply put the support string into the back of the locking clip at the location where you want to place the clip onto the plant and squeeze the clip until it snaps and locks. These are very easy to put on and to take off and they can easily be relocated to new locations as the plants grow. These work great to support tomato plants and cucumbers and other tall plants without damaging the main stems. These may be clear or black, depending on what we have in stock. BLUE THRIP & LEAFMINER STICKY TRAPS

The color blue attracts thrips and leafminers, both serious pests of ornamental flower and fruit crops. They attack petals and newly formed fruit. Thrips are small, black winged insects that leave small holes in the flowers or small marks on the fruit. They will occasionally bite people, especially the western grain thrips. These large 4”x 6” double-sided blue sticky traps with grids catches Thrips, Leafminers and other insect pests. Hang at plant level with supplied twist tie from branch or stake. Place one trap every 7 feet or at end of each row. Long term use of the blue sticky traps will reduce troubling infestations without the use of toxic chemicals. Use plenty of traps early in the season for best results. Lasts all season, even in rain, or until completely coated with insects or dust. Pack of 5 Blue Sticky Traps-$6.00 ea.

YELLOW APID & WHITEFLY STICKY TRAPS

The color yellow attracts aphids, whiteflies, and other garden insects. The insects are drawn to these and trapped and killed. For badly infested plant, shake plant gently and flies will swarm a few moments before they fly to your nearby traps like iron filings to a magnet! Long term useof the yellow sticky traps will reduce troubling infestations without the use of toxic chemicals. Use plenty of traps early in the season for best results.
